The Drought Group Scene Filming
Sunday, August 7, 2016, 12:00 - 5:00pm
The Drought is the second film by the artist collective Bonanza LLC. As a follow up to their first film Bonanza: The Initiation, a horror film that satirized the rise of big tech in San Francisco, The Drought will investigate the effects (real and imagined) of the water crisis. The film will follow a day in the life of a Bay Area resident, that includes scenes filmed in and near the gallery in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland.
Special Event: Group Scene Filming Sunday, August 7, 12pm - 5pm
As part of their residency, Bonanza LLC will invite the community to be part of the movie, having open hours during their production process. On August 7th, they will be filming the group scenes at the gallery, and the public is invited to watch. The Royal Production Company will provide support, craft services and beer from our sponsor, Temescal Brewing, during these events.
